Snow

Director’s Message

Sowing of the seed in their native land by a dedicated couple after their return from England Late Mr. & Mrs. Elias, educational entrepreneur’s with concern, pain and endless effort brought about the germination of the seed even when, bereft of any modern day infrastructure. Now after 55 years this mature tree stands tall and firm rooted deep into our Indian culture, ready to face the winds of challenges with courage born out of the unique strength which is analogues to Mahatma Gandhi’s belief that “we will keep the door & windows of our house open and allow the winds of change to blow through, but we will not be swept off our feet.”

Education for the founders was not a pass time but a mission born out of commitment to its cause. The methodology evolved was to induct in institution, not brilliant high I.Q., students but mediocre border line cases and mould them into star performers. ”

The basic principle evolved around the idea that, without wisdom knowledge was incomplete. If this aspect is inculcated in each learner, only then the taught would become a strong member of the society, holding the shining beacon of the knowledge for the world to see and the nation to be proud off.”

The ideal pattern of education was so molded that “education with a smile” was the key principle. The litmus test for its acceptability was that the students come to the seat of learning enthusiastically, looking forward to each college day. ”

The founding father’s defined an education institution as comprising of hygienic quiet surroundings, plain buildings with basic amenities, plain furniture, black board, chalk but a very able and excellent teacher. ”

We are pledged to these concepts laid down by these visionaries and pioneers of education to its ultimate end. We also, pledge to light this candle of the founder’s vision and further light more such candles, till the society is illuminated by this celestial light.”

Best Wishes
